I just got a call from the San Diego Police Department letting me know that some Federal investigators recovered my stolen car somewhere in Sonora, Mexico and that they are going to mail me something and that I can come pick it up.
Well first of all, I don’t have the keys for it anymore because my insurance company technically owns it now. Secondly, how does a US Federal something-rather have jurisdiction to recover my stolen car in another country (not that I’m complaining)?
Would be funny (and nice) if my personal stuff happened to still be in the car. hah
Only 3 months and 2 weeks after it was stolen. 🙂
lol, so will you get old one now or new one ?:(
I turned over the title of my old one to the insurance company already and they paid me, so they own it. So I’ll still get the new one.
I’m sure the old one probably has some damage to it too I’m assuming… I just want to see if they left some stuff in it (like the tool kit) or other stuff of mine.
Maybe you should have invested in something like this. It could have saved you alot of trouble.

Glad to hear you got your car back man!
I call dibs on the old one!
I’m 99% sure they took everything out if it that they could and sold it. I wouldn’t count on getting anything back. 🙂
Congrats, get photos of it when you see it 🙂
Thats a ROUGH area in Mexico I am sure your old Hummer saw some heavy wheelin…. be intresting to see how it held up :0
