Google Maps Adds Satellite Imaging

Just like I predicted, Google has utilized their acquisition of Keyhole and added satellite imaging to Google Maps.

Looks like they are updating all their maps too, because some areas have poor resolutions (like an area outside of San Felipe in Baja California), where you can see where the high res imaging meets the low-res stuff.

Up next? Realtime traffic data for major cities. 😉

I’m moving pretty close to my place of employment. These maps might help me “Cantenna” free internet 😉
